At the time, she had Miah, a mixed breed dog that did not have the drives for SAR work and was later diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia. She continued to work with us and we worked with her on obedience and socialization for Maya. Elizabeth found a wonderful pet home for Miah and then started researching a working line dog of her own so that she could become a handler. She recieved Kyra from Little River Canine-Betty Mathena and is doing very well on her trailing work. They make a GREAT little team.
